TearLab® Osmolarity Test Cards are single-use, disposable microchips designed for use with the TearLab® Osmolarity System to assist in the diagnosis and management of dry eye disease. Each test card collects an ultra-small tear sample directly from the lower eyelid margin, allowing clinicians to quickly and accurately measure tear osmolarity at the point of care.
By utilizing advanced microfluidic technology, TearLab Test Cards provide a fast, objective assessment of tear film stability using only a nanoliter volume of tear fluid. Tear osmolarity testing is recognized as an important tool in identifying ocular surface disease and monitoring treatment effectiveness in patients experiencing symptoms of dry eye.
